So you’ve got the perfect Spring / Summer wardrobe but you’re stuck on what to wear still. Getting stuck on clothes tends to have less to do with the items in your wardrobe and more to do with knowing the best way to put them together. You might have staple items that you wear weekly but haven’t thought about pairing them together. Or you might have a never before worn item, complete with tags, that’s hidden in the back of your wardrobe ready to be pulled out and teamed with your favourite jeans. It’s safe to say that we all have items waiting in our closets that could be worn in so many different stylish ways, but we’re just missing a dose of inspo.
Spring wardrobe ideas.
If your work is that awkward mix of casual cool and smart then we’ve got some fab ideas for you.
Items needed: Baggy oversized shirt, midi skirt and sneakers.
A great way to add a casual twist to a traditional outfit. Swap out the fitted shirt for a smart but comfortable oversized version and pair it with some clean sneakers.
The Canadian Tuxedo.
Items needed: Denim shirt, Denim jeans, strappy heels, winter coat.
One of my favourite ways to work double denim. Break up the heavy look with minimalist strappy heels, a chic winter coat and simple jewellery. Bonus points if you wear ripped girlfriend cut jeans.
Out and About:
Chic but casual outfits to take you from drinks to dancing.
Slouchy spring fling.
Items needed: White jeans, striped shirt, strappy heels.
If you’re idea of a spring outfit is on-point but unfussy then this is the look for you. Teaming a smart but slouchy shirt with white jeans and a great pair of heels creates the perfect just thrown together look.
Items needed: Denim dungarees, baggy long sleeved top, oversized scarf.
Great for a saturday or sunday walking around town. Team a striped top with denim dungarees and oversized scarf and a clashing bag.
